Famous Buttermilk Syrup
Melt 1 cube butter in a large pot
Add 2 cups sugar and stir into melted butter.
Add 1 cup buttermilk and allow to boil slightly.
Add 1/4 cup of light corn syrup and allow to boil. Add 1 tsp. of baking soda and stir. Syrup will foam and become frothy.
